This guide describes ambulances in general. What the ambulance for your trip carries, and who travels with the patient, is confirmed by our dispatcher before you book.
Dhaka has many private hospitals. These eight are well known, listed by area so you can plan the journey. We take patients to hospitals and we are not part of any of them. The list is not a ranking and not a medical recommendation. Ask the patient’s doctor which hospital is right.

Not every hospital takes every case. Specialities, beds and prices change. Check with the hospital.
How to choose
- Follow the treating doctor. If the doctor names a hospital, go there.
- Call ahead. Ask the emergency desk to confirm they can receive the patient and who will meet you.
- Think about the road. The nearest hospital is not always the quickest in traffic.
- Ask about the fare early if a long transfer is needed.
Getting a patient there
Tell the dispatcher the pickup, the hospital and what the doctor advised. We match the vehicle: a standard AC ambulance for most transfers, or an ICU ambulance when a doctor advises it. We tell you the fare before we dispatch. For babies, see NICU ambulance service.
What we cannot tell you
We cannot say which hospital has a bed today, and we do not publish hospital prices or doctor lists. They change, and the hospital’s own website is the right source.
